My name is Fareedah Oyekan and I'm a student from the faculty of Engineering Sciences. I am standing for the role of President of the TEDx Society because I am deeply passionate about the power of ideas to inspire and connect. Having been an active member, I've experienced firsthand the enriching sense of community and the impact our society has on individuals and the university as a whole.

Through my involvement in event support, I've gained insights into the inner workings of our society and developed an appreciation for the dedication and creativity it entails. With my love for TED talks and a vision to enhance the society's offerings, I am committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic environment where every member feels valued and inspired and to create a safe space where all opinions and thoughts are welcome.

I believe that as President, I can harness my leadership skills, creativity, and enthusiasm to propel the TEDx Society, making it not only a hub for intellectual exploration but also a fun and engaging community that enriches the university experience for all.
