Emil Medzhidov

I am enthusiastic about joining the committee of the Technology Society at UCL as a Workshop Director because I have a strong passion for technology and its practical applications. While being an AI society's 1st year representative for a whole academic year, i have strengthened my understanding of Technology, specifically AI and its applications in worldwide industries. As a Workshop Director, I see an opportunity to contribute to the society by organising both informative and entertaining workshops that will allow members to enhance their technical skills and explore emerging trends in technology. I believe that workshops play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application since i have attended multiple TechSoc workshops myself and i could always visualise how an emerging technology could be applied in industry. Furthermore, I am eager to collaborate with other committee members to develop a diverse range of workshop topics that cater to the interests and needs of our members, ultimately fostering a dynamic learning environment within the society. Overall, I am motivated to join the committee as a Workshop Director because I believe it offers a platform for me to share my passion for technology with others and make a positive impact on the Technology society at UCL.
