Election post

My journey in charity service is marked by significant milestones; including setting up a charity stall in my Sixth Form to raise £1000 for Palestinian relief efforts, and the successful organisation of a donation drive to 30 undersupplied orphanages in India–providing them with sufficient textbooks, stationery supplies, and clothes. By coordinating these events, I honed my leadership and organisational skills; learning to navigate complex logistics and collaborate with diverse groups to achieve a common goal. This experience enhanced my social awareness, exposing me to stark realities, while encouraging me to explore the initiatives we can take to tackle this. I believe this embodies the universal values of empathy and assistance that our Tamil culture holds dear. These experiences have equipped me with a unique skill set and a deep understanding of the transformative power of community work. It is my sincere belief that together we can build on our Tamil traditions of generosity and community support and create a substantial impact, which drives me to seek the role of charity representative. If elected, my primary goal will be to promote and support meaningful charitable causes, working seamlessly with the committee and society members to ensure our efforts make a tangible difference. With a vision for positive change, I hope to represent our Tamil Society and aid the wider community.
