Taekwondo Club: General Secretary

I have really enjoyed my first year in UCL Taekwondo. Especially as an international student, the society has provided me with the best community I could ask for. I'm applying for the position of General Secretary, as I would like to get more involved in the society, and I feel that it is the role that I am best suited for. 

I have a lot of experience suited for the position of General Secretary which have developed my organizational and communication skills, as well as my ability to collaborate with a variety of people:

3 years coaching the Effective Speaking team (for cadets):

- organized and ran lessons every week

- gave feedback to the cadets and also other coaches

- organized and ran competitions. 

- admin such as designing and ordering hoodies 

1 year as Training Director (for cadets):

- assigned instructors to lessons 

- gave feedback on how to improve lesson quality 

1 year as Student Council Vice President:

- planned events

- directed and supported the volunteers

- provided backup assistance to other committee members
