This year I was elected as Social Secretary in the November By-Elections, and I’ve really enjoyed working to provide better social events for the Swim Society, which is why I am running again for the position. 

Next year I really want to push for more integration between our Competitive and Fitness teams and provide more opportunities for everyone to get to know each other. I’m hoping that if we can start the year strong from the beginning we will become a much more active society in SU events and expand our membership numbers.

After having seen what worked well this year, I would love to use both my own and others’ ideas to organise fun & themed socials with the aim of increasing turnout at events. I also hope that this will encourage more people to join swimming!
