Surgery and Interventional Science Society : Treasurer

Hi everyone,

I'm running for treasurer to continue last year's momentum in the society. 

I was the treasurer of Surgery and Interventional Science Society in 2023-2024, and the committee and I achieved to re-start a society that was going to be disaffiliated. We ran events that many of you enjoyed, and where you hopefully got to make new interesting connections with incredible speakers and other society members! Now that I am fully acquainted with SU procedures and what it takes to run a society, my aim as treasurer is to work with the president to continue this project at full speed and bring you the lab visits and networking events we envisioned, while still keeping costs as minimal as possible. 

I hope to also work with my team to foster more community-building events within our society, which we could not do as well as we liked last year. Reflection is important, and now that I have all this experience, I know that I can use my knowledge from last year to make sure we now reach our maximum potential.
