Surf Club: Vice President

I am running for Vice President as I have greatly enjoyed being a member of the committee this year as a media sec and the general UCL surf community. I want to ensure that we as a society continue to maintain the positive and friendly energy that we have within the club and towards those looking to join! Surf soc provides an awesome space for landlocked Londoners to get together and bond over a shared love of waves or even just the ocean. The club has been super important to me since I joined in my first term as a fresher and was instantly welcomed into a community of friendly faces. Maintaining this openness and friendliness within the 'club' is one of the most important aspects for me (as well as planning some sick surf trips and socials) making sure everyone feels like they have a place within the community, surfer or not!
