Surf Club: Media Secretary

i would love to be social media sec because I have always been passionated about water sports ( ive done surf/ windsurf/ wingfoil/ sailing ( at elite level) etc since forever

i am not particularly good at surf as i didnt live near close spots but the few times i did it i absolutly loved it.

the surf society seems to have so many nice and fun people, i have been in the society but never took the step to come in and meet many people, but i would like to be more involve next year.

i am someone that loves making friends, take memories pictures ( i got a camera for chritmas) and used to make video edits on final cut pro and i movie for three years. I love to film/ edit videos to make nice souvenirs and think i could use that to promote the club!!!

i would really love to be elected for that role, i always enjoy doing creative activities and making friends and think This would be the perfect position, I also plan on doing competitions next year so i could also film content there:)

I am Blanche, a 2nd year Global Humanitarian Studies student. As the current Media Secretary for UCL's In Aid of Unicef club, I already have experience in this role. I understand how to manage social media accounts and curate engaging content.

In addition to my social media experience, I have a passion for surfing. It's not just a hobby, it's a lifestyle. I want to share my love for the sport on social media platforms, share our joy and inspire others to share the thrill of riding the waves 🏄. I want to work to highlight the achievements of other surfers within the surf club, promote inclusive activities and work to unite everyone through our shared love of surfing.

If elected Media Secretary, I hope to:

• Enhance our online presence through dynamic and engaging content.
• Share the achievements of all club members.
• Foster a sense of belonging and excitement within the surf club community.
• Promote our shared passion for surfing and attract new members to the club

I’m Darcy, a second year Global Humanitarian Studies student and a big fan of surf club! Being a part of surf community is one of my favorite parts of UCL because of the super cool people and beautiful surf spots we get to explore.

I want to be media secretary to ensure that surf club can continue to share these experiences, educate the community on surf history, and keep everyone updated on upcoming events and trips.
