Tulin Bayramoglu

During my time in Stage Crew I have had the chance to get involved with a lovely variety of productions from original plays in smaller theatres to much bigger shows in the Bloomsbury Theatre, and I have picked up very different skills, being in both environments so often. I was able to learn on the show many times which is something I value a lot, and aim to enable this further in this role. More specifically, I have worked on many shows in the Camden People’s Theatre and feel very comfortable with the staff and space, meaning I can ensure smooth communication and planning on upcoming Garage shows at the venue. 

I have attended the training sessions offered by the society and feel confident in my ability to now pass this information on, with my interest being mostly in lighting; do reach out for a chat! Gaining experience on the show can be difficult for many reasons, notably time constraints, but I think garage shows make it much more accessible, with the crews being smaller and cue programming more easily understandable. Since joining in November, I also have some ideas to improve training and provide more opportunities for new members to feel confident applying for lead roles sooner, which is something I wish I had more guidance on.

Theatre is a huge passion of mine and joining the society has meant the world to me, so now I would love to give back by helping new members on this journey!
