Mohamed Arash Kader

My vision for our society is to create a vibrant and inclusive community that not only celebrates our unique Singaporean heritage but also welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am running based on 4 principles:

1. Experienced Hand to Guide Exco

As an events executive I have been involved in the planning of major events such as the Orientation, Halloween Boat Party, and Spring Ball. This has as equipped me with the critical leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills necessary to steer our society towards its objectives while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging among members.

2. Maximising Your Dollar

I have experience coming up with creative solutions to work  within a tight budget from finding "lobangs" to finding new locations. My promise is to introduce free events (with food) or fun activities at low cost.

3. Enriching Your UCL Experience

I plan to introduce events such as Art Therapy and Movie Nights which provides an opportunity to make friends and network within the Singaporean community. I aim to introduce budget friendly day trips / excursions and if there is strong demand 3-5 day Euro Trips.

4. Social Media Engagement

We plan to engage members on IG via polls and open DMs to get feedback and real time data on what works so we can host events with maximum engagement from the community. There is also an idea to create short reels on Student life Hacks. Lastly, I am considering a podcast with guest stars (Based on Interest).

Jai Surya Gupta

I am driven by a profound passion for fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment within UCL Singsoc. My vision is to transform our community into a warm and welcoming space that resonates with members from all backgrounds. Through collaborative events with various societies, we can create a dynamic and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. As a dedicated member myself, I understand the diverse needs of our community and am committed to addressing them. I aspire to be a leader who not only listens but deeply comprehends the desires of each member, ensuring that everyone feels valued and included in the larger UK community. With a people-oriented and friendly approach, I am determined to strengthen the bonds within our society, making it a place where everyone thrives and feels a genuine sense of belonging.

Bryan Wee

Over the past few months, I have come to realise what it means to have a home away from home. Singapore society has been a platform for me to forge bonds, get great deals, or to simply have fun.

Having previously held numerous leadership positions over the years, it puts me in good stead to build on the amazing work that has been done by the seniors over the past academic year.

My vision is for singsoc to continue organising enjoyable and meaningful events whilst seeking out new interest areas or collaborations for both within and beyond UCL.

Under my leadership, you can expect singsoc to be a place where you can find avenues to make friends, a place to explore opportunities in arts, sports, and career, a place which provides avenues to spend time with your friends, and a place to get the best bang for your buck!

It will be my honour and pleasure to deliver on the vision I have for singsoc!
