Sign Language Society: Social Media Officer

Hi everyone <3 My name is Abigail and I am a 2nd year Psychology student. 
 

I’m passionate about nominating myself for the social media officer role of Sign Language Society (SLS) for several reasons. Since joining in first year, the society has been a safe and encouraging place to not only learn BSL, but also to make some great friends too. I love the society, and this position presents an opportunity to amplify awareness about it to other students.

My previous experience in several society roles, has allowed me to become really familiar with social media and creating enticing media for society pages.

As a social media officer, I aspire to create engaging content which encourages society members but also inspired others to embark on their own BSL journey, no matter their proficiency level.
