Sebastian Dibb

If 18 years of Catholic schooling gave me anything (other than a penchant for older men) it was a deep yearning for the cause of charity. Toiling after this year's charity 24-hour run was one of the proudest moments of my life, and provided me with a fix which I hope to replicate again and again during my tenure in this esteemed position next year. Some call me a charity addict.

My credentials? So far this year I've been charitable enough to give up the 9 jersey to our lord and savoir Plymouth, which took a hell of a lot of doing, need I saw anymore? Even on the way to Bernard St pret (where I'm currently ensconced writing this) I gave a coffee to a homeless man. I know, I know *pause for applause* now the coffee was free because I use my mother's club pret membership but I think we can all agree this is beside the point. I simply live for charity.

In all seriousness, I have been a member of the law school's pro bono society since September, where we offer free legal advice to those who can't afford the prices of commercial firms. I would also like to look into working with the charity Mary's Meals, as while I know we do a lot of work with Oddballs and other UK institutions, I think it would be good to broaden our reach to charities working in developing countries too.

First act as sec: Mandatory, weekly charity runs. The plight of the needy doesn't rest and neither shall we.

Christ do I love charity.
