As president of RareFM I would maintain and widen the amazing community of likeminded people who all love radio and music
Events - For one I would love to hold more Rare FM events/socials to enhance its sense of community - especially through collaborative means with creative individuals, radio stations, societies, and labels. I see collaboration as a great way of furthering the stations success. Having Dj’d, on multiple London radio stations and ran my own club events I would love to utilise these contacts in conjunction with Rare!
Content - I’d like to push much more Rare FM content. I really want to start a video recorded RareFM mix series platforming and showcasing the stations amazing current and alumni DJ talent. Other content I would love to push is committee profiles, weekly schedules, charity streams and show spotlights to all strengthen and develop the stations sense of unity and cement rare as London’s best student station!
RareFM’s music Magazine - I would also want to continue and build upon Rare’s magazine, Under city lights. I would seek to continue printing physical issues of the magazine and continuing to offer all of RareFM’s skilled and creative members the opportunity to publish great work
RareFm is a big love of mine and I would love to continue to strengthen and improve upon its vibrant and talented community as President!
(I’d also do my all to prevent the key getting lost :) )
