Alicia Wallerstein

Hi everyone! I'm Alicia and I'm your current vice president, looking to run for another year. I am a second year pharmacology student from Switzerland! It has been a pleasure to be part of the team that has revived pharmacology society this year, after a year of inactivity.

This year, I have used my connections to host various leading biotech startups at our society to help our members learn more about what it is like to be involved in the field of drug discovery. I have also organised various socials to keep our community connected!

Next year, I look forward to continuing to bring in external speakers to keep our society networked in with the industry, as well as collaborating with other societies for more fun (pizza) socials and events.

Please vote for me🙏🙏

Pelin Meric

As a passionate student in the field of pharmacology with an enthusiasm for leadership and teamwork, I am eager to become a part of the pharmacology society as vice president. Based on my skills in leadership, communication, organization and strategic thinking, I believe that I can work collaboratively with fellow members, coordinate events and devise plans to enhance the success and wellbeing of this society. My academic background has equipped me with a solid understanding of pharmacological principles, and I am excited about the prospect of leveraging this knowledge to enhance the experiences of our society members. I am confident that these qualities, coupled with my genuine passion for pharmacology, make me well-suited for the responsibilities of the Vice President role.

I am very enthusiastic to take part in the planning and execution of educational and social events, seminars, workshops and to support in the creation of an inclusive and welcoming environment to maximize the engagement of people with a common interest in this field. I aspire to work closely with the executive committee and society members to implement innovative ideas, drive positive change, and enhance the overall experience for everyone involved.

I am eager to become part of the pharmacological society and to take on the role of Vice President and I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of this society.
