Pelin Meric

As a passionate student in the field of life sciences, I am very eager to contribute to the pharmacological society as an active and dedicated member to enable the society to flourish. My enthusiasm in the field of pharmacology and my foundation in financial management and data organisation urges me to become a part of this society to enhance its wellbeing and reputation, and to make it a more benefitting society for its members.

I am particularly drawn to the Treasurer position within the Pharmacology Society because of my deep-rooted interest in the field and my belief in the society's potential to create a meaningful impact. I plan on managing budgets effectively, conducting transparent financial affairs, tracking expenses and incomes successfully and using the resources very efficiently. Along with this and my strengths in communication and collaboration, I plan on enhancing the society’s social and educational events and activities to maximize the benefits the members can gain and to increase engagement.

My academic pursuits, coupled with my commitment to excellence, have instilled in me the precision and attention to detail necessary for the role of Treasurer. I am very excited to join the committee and contribute to its success with my unique ideas and efforts, as well as to collaborate with fellow members who share a common interest in this field.

Jane Polonskaya

I'm keen to take on the role of a treasurer for the  Pharmacology Society for the second time because I'm passionate about both finance and pharmacology. I see this as a chance to apply my financial skills to support the society's activities. While also contributing to a pharmacology community in UCL dedicated to advancing knowledge in this science. Being treasurer allows me to ensure the society's financial stability and help it grow.
