Mia Olagbaju

I joined RUMS netball last year, and was incredibly nervous being an older netball fresher and having not played netball since secondary school, but I was so happy to find I was immediately welcomed and have met so many amazing people. I want to stand for Welfare Officer to help maintain that supportive environment of inclusivity, in which everyone feels welcomed
, that made me feel like a part of the club from the first training session and social.

I am an open and approachable person, who’s always happy to lend an ear and listen, give any advice if asked, or signpost where you can get further help. I want to make sure everyone in RUMS Netball, whether you have a player or social membership, or you’re a medic or non-medic, feels seen and supported during their time with us.
