I am running for the welfare & volunteering officer to spread the joy of music!
How heart-warming would it be to use our musical talents to bring smile and happiness into other people's lives? We could perform all genres of music, from classical to contemporary, for everyone all around the globe. Ultimately, we, as a music society will be able to make a positive impact on this world by fostering a happier environment through music!
I hope to achieve this by organising charity music concerts, volunteer trips where we could perform for people who would otherwise be unable to afford a musical performance, organising a carol service and fundraisers.
In addition, I hope to foster a happier music society by making sure everyone in the society is doing well. After all, we are in the music society to be happy :) With my years of experience as a mentor (dating all the way back to high school), I am ready to listen to your troubles and concerns, organise coffee chats, etc. Finally, you can always count on me for my reliability and communication skills which are crucial to being an awesome welfare & volunteering officer :)
