Hey guys,

I’m sure like many of you, this society has become an important part of my time at UCL, and I want it to grow even more next yr.

With my year as a prestigious Gear Sec (🔥) ending, I am running for Events Sec.

I will be able to lend my 2 yrs of UFN and interclub comp experience to organising our fight nights. I’ve got experience on this committee and I’ll run things smoothly. I also have plans for improving UFN production level next yr 👀.

Anyway, pls vote me guys 🙏 or I’ll headkick u on Sunday

Amanda Brodie

Hey gang!!

This club has been a huge part of my first year at uni and I don't plan on letting up next year.

So so grateful for everything UCLMT has given me. I've met so many amazing people and gotten new  motivation to improve with every session. Somerstown and South Quad popup are now my happy places. I genuinely could not imagine uni life without it.

Given all that, I'd love to get even more involved and give back to the club as events sec. Helping out at UFN this year was mad stressful but also super fun and fulfilling. Going forward, I want to be part of making future events and inter-clubs welcoming and enjoyable for all- whether you're fighting or supporting (aka. making sure UCL chant dominates over all other competition).

Thanks for reading! See you all at training ;p

(bonus points for the pic of me actually in Thailand?!)

Dear Members,

Since joining the Muay Thai Club, I have fallen in love with not only the sport, but the community as a whole. I genuinely cherish the deep sense of camaraderie, discipline and passion which we all share with one another through Muay Thai.

I want to take the opportunity to give back to the society by applying to be a part of the committee, using my management skills to hopefully take on the responsibility of events secretary. As someone studying Economics and Statistics, I believe my skills are best suited to resource allocation and the successful coordination of logistics and budgets to make events as smooth-sailing and successful as possible.

Having been a part of the student leadership team at high school, I understand what it takes to manage events and have cultivated strong leadership and collaborative skills - attributes I am eager to bring to Muay Thai. If elected, I will dedicate my time to improving the quality of events hosted by the Muay Thai to ensure that everyone creates long-lasting, meaningful memories.

I am confident that, with my experience, dedication, and enthusiasm, I can make a meaningful and lasting impact as Events Sec. Together, let us continue building a Muay Thai community that not only excels in the ring but also thrives in unity and mutual support. I humbly request your vote and support in this endeavour, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute towards the continued success of the Muay Thai Club.
