Medieval Society : Welfare Officer

I am really passionate about the Medieval Society and have really enjoyed attending the many varied events held throughout the year.  I graduated in history from UCL in 1984 and enjoy all things historical. I would really like to offer my services to the Society, key skills I've learnt throughout my life, in corporate roles as a mentor and offering guidance to individuals who struggle, and life skills acquired.  

I love medieval architecture and history, I specifically have a keen interest in medieval churches. Growing up one of my favourite movies was Shrek, that showcased a medieval theme and I also would spot out medieval clothing, developing an interest in the fashion of that period. I believe I would be in good in the role of Welfare Officer as I will always listen to the committee and members needs, help out in any way i can as well as provide support to members.
