Shreya Kantamneni

Hi, I’m Shreya :)

I am a 1st year medical student and I am running for the role of pre-clinical education officer for UCL Medical Society.

I wholeheartedly believe that UCL Medical Society is truly an incredible platform that allows all UCL medical students to navigate the amazing, dynamic field of medicine and also provides the wonderful opportunity to network with like-minded medical students, doctors and surgeons nationwide.

As pre-clinical representative, I will ensure that all the ideas, concerns and expectations of UCL pre-clinical medical students are prioritised. Furthermore, I am looking forward to collaborating with the Medical society committee to organise tutorials and zoom sessions for pre-clinical students (especially high-yield content) on a weekly basis and also opportunities for pre-clinical students to engage in study skills workshops. I also envision setting up a UCL Medical Society study mentor programme for pre-clinical students.

In terms of my personal qualities, I am an extremely friendly and caring person. I always like to make people smile and helping others I truly the positive energy that I thrive on. As pre-clinical representative, my main goal would be to represent all pre-clinical students’ interests and curiosity around the various elements of medicine. Therefore, I aim to ensure that we, as pre-clinical students, are able to access a plethora of resources and advice to navigate through the pre-clinical years of medical school.

Thank you
