I’m Michael, a mechanical engineering student. I hereby announce my candidacy for the prestigious role of Sports Captain for our competitive team.

This year, I proudly stand as the best-performing racer, securing a flawless 100% victory record in British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC)! Leading our UCL A team on top of championship standings not only signifies my personal triumphs but also highlights the untapped potential within our talented squad.

I aim to infuse our team with an unwavering dedication to racing. Over the past 2 years of my racing career, I have engaged with a promising and uprising professional karting team, ADX Racing, accumulating valuable knowledge and experience. I am willing to implement these specialised insights, propelling our team forward with a strategic edge.

Moreover, what sets me apart is my all-round capability that would lead our team to even greater success. With a proven racing ability, my leadership has shone through successful experiences in both extracurricular and academic realms. I consistently foster a supportive environment where each team member’s strengths can contribute effectively. As a first-year undergraduate, I have the time to support and guide our team members, aiding them in overcoming their personal limits.
