Deniz Guven

Hi! I’m Deniz, a first-year Politics and International Relations student eager to bring my background in IR and passion for digital communication to the IRS team as your Social Media Director. In my past roles as the head of marketing for school clubs and as a social media director for two companies, I have cultivated a skill set that aligns well with the requirements of this position.

If appointed, in addition to maintaining the current social media presence, I plan on implementing new strategies to enhance the IRS's online presence. This includes hosting engaging online Q&A sessions, creating captivating event promotion videos such as TikTok-style videos, organizing social media takeovers during society events to keep members involved, and broadcasting events through YouTube livestreams or Zoom to broaden our virtual audience.
