Karenshia Wijaya

I am nominating myself for the position of Welfare Officer in the Indonesian Society because I genuinely believe in the importance of a supportive environment for the people around me. Therefore, I would love to contribute to ensuring everyone in the Indonesian Society feels supported and heard.

Celine Tedja

Hello everyone, I’m Celine. As a member of the UCL Indonesian Society for the past few months, I thoroughly enjoyed the events held by the society. Hence, for the next academic year, I would like to directly participate in the running of the society by becoming a committee member. I am standing as a welfare officer because I believe that the well-being of a society’s members is an important aspect of creating a positive environment and maximising performance. As a welfare officer, I would like to provide support to members by being a point of contact for them if they need any help or advice. I would also like to help plan and organise events to improve the welfare of members. Regarding my experience, I am currently in the PSDM (Human Resources Development) team of PPI London, where my team has organised team-building activities for the internal committees to encourage their progress and development. I had a fun time doing it, and I am willing to transfer the skills that I have gained into the welfare officer role in this society. I am excited about the future potential of the UCL Indonesian Society and the opportunity to grow in this close-knit community.
