I have been a dedicated member this past year and want to further my involvement by being a part of committee. For this role, I have relevant experience in video editing as well as liaising with other societies to create and manage events - experience I have gained through being in subcommittee for Cardiothoracic Surgery Society as Events Manager.

Hi everyone! My name is Nitya, I’m a first year student studying History, Politics and Economics, and I’m running to be your Marketing Officer!

I’m running to be on committee because I believe dance is such a beautiful way to express yourself, and such a wonderful way to meet amazing people. From when I was young and started learning Kathak, a form of Indian classical dance, to jamming out with my friends at the society’s weekly classes, I’ve always found that taking part in dance has been a really special experience.

I believe I would be a great marketing officer because I have the experience for it. Over my gap year, I interned on the marketing desk of luxury beauty company, ‘Fable & Mane’; here, I learnt much about effectively using social media, as well as the power of digital marketing tools. This experience was invaluable, and I would bring it with me to the society as your marketing officer.

All in all, I believe dance is something really special, and I strongly feel I would be a good addition to the committee as marketing officer.
