Harry Potter Society: President

I strive to bring people together through my own passion for this franchise (not the author eugh) and provide a safe space for everyone to love-hate this series together. I strive to contribute to events that will make even the partial-est of fans go "hey, that wasn't too horrible was it?". I strive to organise events that will be inclusive to both casual and die-hard enjoyers/haters of the series and foster a sense of community that is just a little bit kooky. I strive to connect people to all things Harry Potter, both the good and the bad because we need to critically engage with the media we love. I strive to make each and every one of the 52 members in the Whatsapp group chat (and more to come!) feel welcomed and invite everyone — regardless of fandom knowledge or merch collection or anything at all — to celebrate together the magical world of our imaginations. I strive to be everything that JK Rowling does not stand for. I am standing because I wish to achieve all this and share it all with you.
