I am thrilled to apply for the position of Marketing Officer for the Handball Society. I believe that effective marketing is essential for promoting our society and attracting new members. I am dedicated to elevating the profile of the Handball Society and establishing it as a vibrant and dynamic community within the university. By utilising social media, we can increase visibility of all our amazing members, engage with the university community, and showcase the incredible experiences we offer.

Blanche Li

Throughout two years of being in this club, i have felt strong sense of belonging and community from every member. And being captain last year empowered me as a leader and taught me valuable skills.

This year, i would like to continue contributing to the club, using my marketing knowledge, and my passion for handball and this community.

My primary aim as marketing officer is to showcase UCL handball to a wider audience, attract old and new players joining the club, while also highlighting the achievements and growth of our club members. By working closely with the committee, we could attract and retain members, fostering an inclusive handball community!

Maira Alisha Haris

Handball Club was one of the first clubs I joined and I’ve enjoyed every second of it since - I felt welcomed by the people there and the games are so fun. I would like to contribute back to the club to keep it going in hopes of the same experience for others.

One of the best ways to promote the club nowadays is through social media, especially Instagram. As marketing officer, I will make posts on every game we have, as well as any other events or socials we may have. I would also communicate with other platforms like the teamUCL page and Pi Media to promote this club further with interviews and highlights. I have experience making logos and posters for events I co-organised in my schools, and I intend to use the skills in communicating and creating promotional items I gained from these as marketing officer.
