Rowan Copes

Having done gymnastics for many years when I was young, I was hesitant to join the club during my 1st year because I didn't know what to expect. But thanks to the friendly and welcoming committee officers I decided to give it a try again and I am so grateful that I did, as gymnastics has become one of my favourite parts of my 1st year! I want to help grow and support the club by joining the committee for the next academic year. I know firsthand the importance of maintaining one's wellbeing while being involved in a sport like gymnastics, which can be challenging and takes a lot of both mental and physical strength. I hope to be able to organise wellbeing events and make sure that everyone in the club feels safe and supported.
