Hello! I'm Caitlin. My journey with UCL Gymnastics began in my first year, reigniting my childhood passion for the sport. This past year, I've embraced the role of Communications Officer, a position that has been incredibly fulfilling. However, I feel my true strengths align more closely with the responsibilities of Captain.

My background in gymnastics spans over a decade of competitive experience. I've also taken on roles as a coach and judge at regional competitions, giving me a comprehensive understanding of skill and routine requirements across various levels. This year, I've further honed my leadership skills as the Cheerleading Captain, where I've successfully managed training schedules, organized travel for competitions, coordinated team social events, and served as a supportive point of contact for team members facing both sporting and personal challenges.

Looking ahead, I am particularly excited about the prospect of encouraging more team members to participate in competitions. I understand that competitions can sometimes be perceived as intimidating or overly competitive. However, I believe in transforming them into enjoyable, relaxed events where everyone can proudly showcase their skills alongside their teammates. It's important to me that everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned gymnasts, knows there's a place for them. Competitions are not about winning; they're about community, personal growth, and celebrating our love for gymnastics.
