Sabrina Song

Hi everyone! I’m Sabrina, a first year BSc Statistics, Economics and Finance student, running to be the VP of Marketing for Guild next year.

As my High School Student Council’s Vice President and the head of media for various service committees, I am confident with maintaining a brand’s image, addressing its mission and values, and effectively promoting its events. My experiences include a marketing internship at Mondelēz International, where I worked with professionals marketing for Oreos, Cadbury, and other of your favourite snacks! As a proud and passionate member of Guild, I believe I can thrive in this role.

As VP of Marketing, I will implement the following agenda:

  • Make branding more cohesive by establishing guidelines about the aesthetic of promotional material, such as colour palette, font, and formatting. This will allow our brand to be instantly recognisable and strengthen our professional image.
  • Efficiently communicate about upcoming events in a timely manner. I will ensure that promotional materials are made public at least a week in advance and that event reminders are sent out two days before the event.
  • Foster unity of our members through sending bi-weekly newsletters featuring event updates and snippets of our Guild Gazette.

By voting for me, I will use my skills in marketing and communications to further enhance Guild’s brand image so we can continue to support you as UCL’s leading career’s society.

Celeste Wu

Hello! I've had an incredible experience participating in the Guild society's events this year. It has been a fantastic opportunity for me to learn new things and connect with diverse individuals. I am eager to take on the role of Marketing Officer because I am passionate about being the bridge between the society and students who want to engage more but might feel unsure about how to do so.

Having been actively involved in the career-related events hosted by the society, I've personally benefitted in making informed decisions about my career path. I want to extend this valuable experience to more students, helping them navigate the complexities of the professional world.

My role as the Publicity Officer in Stage Crew this year has equipped me with the skills to manage Instagram posts, inquiries, and respond to questions in group chats. Although the promotional style may differ, I am confident that my experience has prepared me well for the role of Marketing Officer. I am excited to bring a fresh perspective to promotion strategies and contribute to the society's growth. Thank you!

Max Ding

I'm Max, and I am applying to be your next VP of Marketing. I have had experience as a First Year Marketing Executive for UCL Guild, where I elevated our Instagram presence, increasing audience reach by 40,000 accounts and creating reels with 50,000+ views as well as creating a TikTok account garnering 34,000+ views.

My vision is to transform UCL Guild's social media presence into an interactive hub, full of life and learning.

If given the chance I will:

  1. Utilise interactive elements like polls and Q&A for active Instagram participation. Making UCL Guild a more community based and interactive society.
  2. Use my content making skills to craft informative and entertaining content, making our society brand standout.
  3. Aim to expand our presence on platforms like TikTok, reaching more potential members.

My experience in attending and assisting during society events and meetings also gave me an understanding of how this society is run, enabling me to collaborate effectively with other committee and society members to promote UCLGuild’s initiatives.
