Surendra Rana

Hello, I’m Surendra, a second-year MSci Geology student.

To continue this role would be a great chance to create connections further with our vibrant student community. It is crucial to have an open, welcoming society to further bolster our goals as a society.

I hope that next year if elected, I can set up some drop-in welfare sessions (and tea/biscuits all on us!) for people to relax and talk. I have been in tandem and have enjoyed working with other members of Greenough and the committee and hope to continue fostering such collaborations with all members next year.

Maria Galitzine

Hi I'm Maria and I'm applying for the position of Welfare Sec!!

I'm dedicated to creating an inclusive and friendly environment for all wanting to join our society. I understand how hard and overwhelming it can be coming to university and looking to join societies. I pride myself on being a supportive and approachable individual and would love to be there to support my peers through fun well-being activities such as picnics and workshops. U

University can be a daunting place and Greenough is a wonderful and supportive community inside our department and i would love to be there to support everybody <3

Thanks for considering me!!

Emma Watson

I have found Greenough Society to be an amazing way to engage with other students in the department and I would love to support the welfare of our members! I want to be able to support my peers and point them towards any necessary resources so we can make the most of our time at UCL. As a Greenough committee member I would ensure that we provide an interesting and well rounded social environment for students within Earth Sciences to meet each other and foster rewarding connections. I truly love studying Earth Sciences (especially going out into the field to see impressive rocks and fossils!) but I also love being able to gather with other students with this passion.
