I'm excited to apply for the Events Director position at the UCL Green Economy Society. As an advocate for sustainability, I am deeply committed to promoting environmentally conscious practices and advancing the transition towards a greener economy. I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals at the UCL Green Economy Society to organize engaging and informative events that educate, raise awareness, and inspire collective action.

Currently, I'm in my second year of 'BA Politics, Sociology & East European Studies', but I'm also pursuing modules relevant to the Green Economy. For example, I take Sustainable Energy and Macroeconomics. These provide me with a solid foundation in key areas pertinent to sustainable development and green initiatives. Furthermore, attending the '2024 Green Business Forum' further fuelled my passion for sustainability and provided valuable insights into current trends and practices in the green economy. I am eager to use this knowledge to create impactful events for the Green Economy Society.

Moreover, during my time as Treasurer for UCL's Amnesty Society, I developed strong leadership and organizational skills, while also overseeing budgeting, events, and various other initiatives. This demonstrates my ability to manage and plan events effectively, ensuring smooth execution and optimal outcomes. These experiences have equipped me with the necessary skills to spearhead successful events for the UCL Green Economy Society.
