Robyn Aaron

Hi, I'm Robyn :) I'm the current GenFem Social Media Manager and I'm running to keep the role for next year!

I've really enjoyed designing the posts for our Instagram and I think I've gotten to be pretty okay at it hahaha!! I have also really loved talking to all of you via our Instagram account as well as communicating to all the societies we have worked with so far this year. I think having consistent and friendly communication between the committee and members is so important to making sure everyone feels happy, welcome and included in our society and I hope I have contributed to that this year and you all trust me to keep going for next year!

I love that the role of Social Media Manager allows me to be both creative and work so closely with the rest of the committee in helping to plan and organise events throughout the year. I've loved working with the amazing committee we have had this year and hope I can help make sure our nearly all-new committee next year works just as well together as we have this year!

My aims as social media manager would be:

• ensure open and active communication between the committee and members
• show how amazing, welcoming and inclusive GenFem is and make sure as many Freshers know about us as possible

I believe the issues we discuss and tackle are super important. In the future I would like to use our Instagram page to encourage discussion around and bring attention to the issues and causes that we focus on.
