Friends of Israel Society: President

Friends of Israel Society is not just a community; it is a bridge between cultures, generations, and perspectives. I want to make sure Israelis and students in support of Israel feel welcome and safe on campus. Knowledge is empowerment. I will work tirelessly to promote education and awareness about Israeli history, culture, values and deep-rooted Jewish ties to the Land of Israel. By organizing informative workshops, guest lectures, and cultural exchanges, we will deepen our understanding of our shared heritage and indigeneity in Israel. The current war has been devastating, I first-hand experienced it while volunteering in Israel. I visited and worked for the communities most impacted by Hamas. I spent 2-weeks in the Gaza Envelope helping the local farmers and businesses to get back to normal and worked at logistics bases helping the 100,000 displaced families within Israel. I want to organise more events to bring awareness about life in Israel and how we can promote a viable solution for peace.
