I am eager to run for the position of Preclinical Education and Welfare Officer because I am committed to fostering a supportive environment for students during their foundational years of medical school. Having personally experienced the challenges of preclinical studies, I understand the importance of a well-rounded and compassionate approach to education. And I am committed to being a reliable point of contact for anyone facing challenges or difficulties.
I enjoyed giving tutorials this year and enjoy teaching in general. Would love to be able to help the younger years through pre clin as I am almost through with it!

I would like to apply for the role of Preclinical Education and Welfare officer as going into fourth year in September, I believe I have experience and knowledge of pre-clinical curriculum and the difficulties many students face in certain areas and topics. I am already part of the UCL Pharmacology scheme (both a social media secretary and a tutor) and therefore I have experience in making resources for tutorials and teaching. I am also looking forward to recruiting other members of RUMSWFC to help out in tutorials. I am excited in participating in the welfare sector of this role as I can understand the difficulty in transitioning into university, especially medical school. I also understand the stress that most students are under during second year and time of application for iBSCs so I would like to provide aid in the application process. I am looking forward to hosting welfare socials that can help students take their minds off studying, overall benefiting their health and happiness.
