As a dedicated and enthusiastic student with a passion for both finance and sustainability, I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to support the society's mission and objectives. My drive to make a significant change not only in the local but global environment is undeniable, having founded the Energy and Sustainability Society in high school (awarded at the Oman sustainability fair).

Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, which, coupled with my involvement in various extracurricular activities has honed my financial management, problem-solving, and budgeting abilities. Formerly president of 4 societies in year 13, my motivation alongside organisational skills incited me to run several projects while balancing my studies. These experiences make me well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of treasurer.

Moreover, my profound interest in energy-related issues, coupled with my commitment to environmental sustainability, align perfectly with the goals of the Energy Society. I have consistently involved myself with sustainability-related projects, having completed my IB extended essay on optimising microbial fuel cells and converted the energy use of high school campus from oil and gas to 60% solar.

If nominated, I am excited to collaborate with fellow members to manage the society's finances efficiently, ensuring transparency, integrity, accuracy, and adherence to fiscal policies, ensuring its continued success.
