As a leader, my journey with social enterprises began during high school when I played a crucial role in Project Ancora, an animal welfare social enterprise based in Singapore. This experience ignited my passion for social entrepreneurship and driving positive change in the world. Now, I'm eager to continue this journey by becoming a part of Enactus.

Enactus UCL offers a unique platform for young entrepreneurs like myself to build and develop their own social enterprises. Drawing from my experience collaborating with a young charity to teach underprivileged kids in India, I'm confident in my ability to contribute effectively to Enactus UCL's mission.

Running for the position of treasurer, I bring a strong finance background gained from working in social enterprises. Here's what I aim to achieve:

1. Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial matters of Enactus UCL, providing clear and accurate financial reports to members.

2. Implement strategies for sustainable financial growth, seeking funding opportunities and partnerships to support the expansion and development of our projects.

3. Foster collaboration with other student societies and external organizations to leverage resources and expertise, strengthening Enactus UCL's position as a leader in social entrepreneurship.

With my dedication and financial acumen, I am committed to supporting Enactus UCL in its mission to transform lives and create a more sustainable world through social enterprise initiatives.

Having served as the Events Coordinator of Enactus UCL for 2023-24, I've gained invaluable insights into the financial dynamics and needs of our society and our individual projects. I am standing for Treasurer as I strive to build upon the work of our previous Treasurer and ensure that financial reporting is transparent, our income and expenditure records are accurate and up-to-date, and that our financial resources are allocated efficiently and fairly between all projects.

My experience in event coordination has taught me how to meticulously pay attention to details in the budget and come up with innovative cost-saving measures. As a student pursuing the Finance and Accounting minor, I am also well-versed in expense tracking, and financial reporting, skills which will help me deliver the responsibilities of Treasurer more efficiently.

Additionally, I am also committed to exploring innovative fundraising strategies and revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships and innovative fundraising events to supplement out budget and ensure that our society and projects can continue to grow.

I am steadfast in my commitment to securing Enactus UCL’s financial well-being and growth through strategic thinking, effective communication with our Events team and Project Leads, and my analytical skills, and I hope I am considered for the role of Treasurer.
