Drama Society: Marketing & PR Officer

You might have seen some of my design work on posters around campus or on Instagram: think Drama Society’s festivals Reclamation 2023 and Pride 2024, as well as Shakespeare Company’s Blooms show Measure for Measure! I’m always inspired by the incredible shows on at UCL, and good shows deserve to be heard and talked about: I hope to be the Marketing and PR officer to ensure just that :) 

As the Head of Marketing for various projects this year, I’ve really enjoyed learning on the job and being involved in every stage of the production process! While my main skillset is in graphic design, I’ve tried my hand at everything from photography, to creative direction, to animation. And with the spirit of trying new things and seeing what works, here’s what I hope to do if elected: 

1. Create a cohesive visual identity representative of Drama Soc and ensure a sense of continuity across all graphics/ posts
2. Publish a bimonthly schedule of what’s on and ways to get involved: upcoming events, socials, plays, auditions and workshops!
3. Act as a point of contact for and coordinating the marketing of Drama Soc’s many shows and events
