Lakshe Thevapalan

My name is Lakshaajeni Thevapalan and I am a fifth year medical student with an interest in dermatology. As Dermatology society president 2023-24, I worked with the wonderful Dermsoc committee to host a 10 part dermatology tutorial series on dermatological presentations in various medical specialties alongside talks from leading dermatology consultants and trainees. I also worked alongside the St George's, KCL and ICL Dermsocs to host the Skin of colour lecture series as well as establishing the first Pan-London dermatology undergraduate conference "Skin Synergy 2024". As I run for Vice President, my goal is to continue supporting the team in maintaining and expanding the initiatives and projects we initiated this year. I intend to leverage the connections established to offer a broader spectrum of talks and sessions, covering topics such as psychodermatology, dermatology in public health, and pediatric dermatology. I aspire to further advance this year's progress and contribute to greater growth, collaboration, and impact

Winston Tham

Hi, I'm Winston!

I'm eager to learn from the current leadership and contribute fresh ideas for our society's events and initiatives. I'm confident that I can be a valuable asset as a supportive vice president, helping the society achieve its goals.

I am passionate about reducing the barriers to accessing knowledge about skin health and educating others about the benefits of maintaining a health skin regimen.

I hope I will be able to make an impact by educating others about dermatology as a specialty and the theory behind the conditions and therapeutic treatments, while expanding my own experience and knowledge about the subject.

I hope I can contribute to the dermatology society in it's mission to provide more information about dermatology and the related health conditions!
