Beth Leadley

I am standing for the role of Welfare Officer as I would like to ensure the well-being of my peers, and act as a point of contact for society members seeking advice to do with the Greek & Latin department and UCL in general. Having been ClassSoc's 2023/2024 Welfare Officer, I have completed all relevant Welfare training and I am familiar with UCL's mental health and well-being resources and services. I would be confident in signposting members to the necessary sources of support, whether that be assistance with academic, personal or financial matters. UCL's training as well as external welfare training has provided me with the knowledge to guarantee the accessibility of our events, meaning all members feel welcome. I would be grateful for the opportunity to host a broader variety of Welfare events next year, building on my experience in this role. I look forward to the prospect of greeting new members next year, and welcoming them to UCL. :)
