Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. - Ephesians 4:16

Hello! I'm Joanna, and I'm in my second year studying Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. I'm so excited to be the Prayer & Welfare Secretary for 24/25. Prayer is hugely important for each of us to sustain our everyday. We as the Christian Union cannot give every student at UCL to have an opportunity to hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ in our own strength - we can only see a move of God within our friends by His power, the Holy Spirit equipping us for what He has called us to do in this season. Leading a Reflect Group this year, I've grown in my own faith and seen others come to know God more as well. I've seen the power of prayer at work on campus this year, and I'm so thrilled to help lead the CU in all that God has planned for us - giving all glory to His name alone. So, let us approach God's throne with confidence in prayer together this coming year, praying that God would reveal Himself anew to our friends and course mates, and to use us to best show His love to everybody that we encounter.
