Catholic Society: Welfare and Volunteering Officer

I am standing for the position of Welfare and Volunteering Officer because I believe deeply in the enriching power of service. My experience volunteering on service projects and working for various charities during my time at university has not only shaped my understanding of the diverse needs within our community but also strengthened my commitment to serve others. Volunteering, for me, is not just an act of charity; it is a manifestation of my faith and a way to live out the Catholic call to love and serve our neighbours. By taking on this role, I aim to channel my passion and experience into fostering a culture of care, support, and service within our society, embodying the values of compassion and solidarity that are at the heart of Catholicism.
