Borja Junoy

Being a part of the Calisthenics Society this year has been so much fun! Spending two hours a week working on my handstand, helping others with theirs and just having a laugh was a great way to disconnect.

As First Year Representative, I got to engage with the committee and understand the inner workings of the society. I also set up the little stretching routine at the end of each session and intend to keep that going next year.

Simon (the current Treasurer) has given me lots of useful advice for the position. I plan to obtain the funds necessary to keep our deal with METABOLIC GYM LONDON and create new partnerships within the London calisthenics community. 

My financial experience includes 2 years working alongside an accountant (keeping tabs on the expenditure of a small fund) and managing society accounts as a member of the UCL Mechanical Engineering Society finance team.

I have the skills and ambition to continue building the Calisthenics Society as Treasurer and look forward to the year to come.
