Rachael Hanks

Hello!

I am standing for this position as I have been a regular member of CalSoc for the past two years!

I absolutely love this society and the social aspect it brings to Scottish Reeling and I feel my ability to call and teach dances as well as socialise with members will allow me to thrive in this position.

I am also the current Events Officer for the society so I know how the society committee runs and the events that need to take place as well as practicalities such as room sizes!

Next year I plan to run beginner-friendly sessions but then perhaps do some more 'unusual' or 'hidden' reels to keep the society interesting for members staying from this academic year!

I can't wait to see what the next year of CalSoc brings!
