Hello everyone! I’m Jan, the current FYR of Business Society.
Through actively joining events such as the DECA, and winning the EY-P session in the UCL Business Game, I was motivated to run for the Vice President of events for the Business Society. I wish to explore potential opportunities and make well-planned future events for the Business Society.
My main agenda will be as follows:
Positioning: The Business Society has faced many competitions from other societies. We have to better position ourselves for future challenges and changes. I hope to increase our collaboration with the UCL School of Management and highlight our significance as a major medium for different societies to collaborate and exchange thoughts.
Entrepreneurship: The value of entrepreneurship has always been undervalued in the UCL Business Society. I aim to create a platform to include more of such talents into our societies and find a place where people can find their potential cofounders and gather their ideas.
Competitions: While consulting competitions have been popular, we rarely see competitions regarding portfolio or assets management here in UCL. It is not only a chance to improve our financial planning skills, but you can take what you learn from here to real life – from tax advisory, real estate purchase to other aspects. Make your family a business!!
By voting for me, I will strive my best to position the Business Society and make a further step to be the one-stop-for-all society in UCL.
