Blockchain Labs Society: Head of Operations

Hi! My name is Rishi and I am currently the Head of Markets for the UCL Blockchain Society. Having been a part of the Blockchain Society for the past 3 years, I have seen the success of the society in hosting a wide variety of events that help encourage students from both technological and non technological backgrounds get into the field and upskill themselves by gaining practical experience, be it through the research projects, hackathons, or collaborations with other societies. Through this position, I hope to continue to host events that promote learning and innovation among members and continue to drive the collaborative nature of the society that allows students to learn from each other, regardless of their background!

With my past experiences of organising events as the Vice President of Quantitative Ventures for the UCL FinTech Society,  I have a lot to offer as the Events Director. Through this experience, I was able to successfully contact industry professionals to provide tailored workshops and panel events to students. As the Mentorship Executive for the UCL Technology Society, I was also able to successfully collaborate with other committee members to host the inaugural Mentorship Scheme. I hope to bring this experience to the Blockchain Society to build a community of like minded individuals that share a passion for blockchain and host events that provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration!
