Election post
From the weekly classes to the fun times spent preparing for Rangeela, my Bhangra Society journey has been a core part of my first year at UCL. The friendships forged within our society have been invaluable. The supportive network of great people has enriched my university experience, and I'm deeply grateful for these lasting connections.
My decision to run for the committee stems from a desire to contribute to the society's thriving community. I aim to ensure incoming freshers have a similarly enriching experience, dedicated to the continuity and growth of our society.
Recognizing the hard work behind organising events, especially competitions and performances, I understand the administrative challenges. As General Secretary, I am committed to contributing to the efficient functioning of the society. I aim to make the administrative side seamless, better allowing our talented dancers to shine on stage and bring UCL bhangra to greater heights on the competitive front.
Additionally, I am enthusiastic about putting my jhumar obsession to good use and assisting in weekly classes and collaborating on events with the president and captains. I am dedicated to supporting the society in any administrative or organisational needs that may arise.
In conclusion, my candidacy for General Secretary reflects my genuine passion for the UCL Bhangra Society. With your support, I am confident in contributing to the continued success and flourishing of our community.
