I'd love to make sure RUMS Badminton continues to be a super welcoming & inclusive club and everyone feels like they're able to get involved! A few things I'd love to introduce are:
- a wider variety of welfare events! e.g. picnics, pottery painting, food socials etc.
- improving signposting and sharing of mental health & wellbeing resources
- regular drop-in welfare coffee mornings to get advice from peers & older years
- collaborations with other societies
I want to ensure that everyone has a chance to take time away from the stresses of med school and feels like they have someone to go to if things get tough! :)
