Election post
As a first-year law student, I've recognized the profound impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sectors, including the legal profession. Many practicing lawyers lack training in data science, algorithms, and AI, leading to an informational gap that needs to be addressed. As the Head of Outreach for the AI Society, I aim to bridge this gap by bringing together different sectors affected by AI, not just LawTech but also FinTech, HealthTech, CleanTech and more.
Drawing from my experience working in several tech startups, I understand how these industries operate and the potential synergies they can create with AI initiatives. Having closely observed the AI Society this year, I'm eager to contribute to its growth and impact next year.
Here's my plan:
1. Forge partnerships with lawtech and fintech companies to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration across different sectors impacted by AI.
2. Organize tailored workshops on AI fundamentals for legal and fintech professionals to navigate AI-driven transformations in their fields.
3. Conduct research projects exploring the intersection of AI with law, finance, and other fields, fostering deeper understanding and driving innovation in these sectors.
With these initiatives, I aim to position the AI Society as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration and skill development in the evolving AI landscape. Together, we can harness AI's potential for positive change and innovation.
