Art Society: President

Hi, I'm Michelle and I’m running to be your next art soc pres :)

Being a part of art soc committee has really been the highlight of my year. I've loved working with committee, getting to know all of you and getting to organise many exciting and sometimes chaotic events.

As President, I want to continue our amazing events such as the ever popular drink and draw, Alice white sessions and life drawings. I also plan to keep the initial term 1 teaching sessions to continue to introduce members to new mediums!

In addition to this I hope to introduce new events like:

• Graffiti in the Leake street arches
• Arts ball in collaboration with the arts officer, other societies or maybe other uni art socs
• A greater variety of materials like more sculpting workshops
• Working with cultural societies to promote different art forms like calligraphy and henna/mehndi art

In short I plan to expand on the work already done and hope to continue to contribute to this creative community. Vote for me <3
