Working as a Foreign Exchange Sales Consultant, I have gained experience processing a high volume of financial transactions and handling cash accurately while adhering to strict financial procedures. This experience translates to efficiently recoding income and expenses for the society as well as managing funds responsibly.

My studies in Information Management for Business have equipped me with a strong understanding of financial processes, record-keeping, and potentially accounting software. This knowledge base is directly applicable to managing the society's finances effectively. My course emphasises organisation and data analysis. These skills are crucial for meticulously tracking the society's income and expenses, ensuring accurate budgeting and keeping clear financial records. 

My strong Arabic language skills are a valuable asset when communicating with members or liaising with organisations in the Arab world. Additionally, my cultural background allows me to understand the needs and priorities of the Arab Society on a deeper level.

I believe that I can bring a fresh perspective to the role, with innovative ideas for fundraising, budgeting or utilising technology to improve financial management.

Finally, my deep passion for the Arab and North African community, coupled with my desire to contribute to its continued success, motivates me to serve as your Treasurer.
